Technology Centre (CTEx) and the company ARES Aeroespacial e Defesa signed a research and development agreement on 29 October to develop an anti-drone version of REMAX, a stabilised remotely controlled weapon station the two built earlier, with more than 300 delivered to the . The goal is a system that detects, identifies, tracks and kinetically neutralises small drones, operated from inside armoured vehicles such as the Guarani 6x6 and Guicurus 4x4.

Tecnodefesa reports the concept was shown at the LAAD 2025 fair and that a prototype is expected to be available for testing in the first half of 2027. It is a development agreement, with no performance results yet. A separate published story covers the first remote firing of REMAX on the APOLLO robot.
