has shown that operators more than 20 kilometers away can take control of an unmanned helicopter and hand it back, Defence Industry Europe reported on 31 October. During the flight test in Grand Prairie, Texas, the remote team directed the aircraft through a series of autonomous flight behaviors using a tablet before returning control to the primary ground station. It was the seventh flight test under a program developing an autonomous aircraft to move supplies between dispersed Marine units.
