France's Aeronautical Maintenance Directorate (DMAé) ordered four more Helicopters U050 Capa-X systems, each with two uncrewed aircraft, two for the navy and two for the army, under the Light Tactical Drone System evaluation programme, Pilot reports. Delivery is scheduled for 2027. It follows an initial system bought at the end of 2025.

The report says the 120 kg aircraft, which can operate up to 54 nautical miles from its ground station, carries 20 kg for ten hours, and that the whole setup fits on two pickup trucks. These are the programme's reported figures.

sUAS News argues the airframe matches Chinese maker Mugin UAV's GV500/GV600 catalogue designs in layout, lift arrangement and wing-swap concept, which sits awkwardly with the programme's sovereignty marketing; presents the Capa-X as designed and produced by its Survey Copter teams.
