HII and announced a demonstration of ' Expeditionary Pathmaster, a modular system for mine countermeasures that connects vehicles, sensors, mission software and neutralisation tools from different makers. HII's REMUS 620 underwater vehicle was linked through one command system into a single workflow covering mine detection, classification and neutralisation.
The command hub was ' portable operations centre, and the neutralisation tool was ' ANGLER. The release does not give the test date, location or results beyond calling the demonstration successful. The account is from the two companies.
