Turkish drones demonstrated submarine hunting: at the navy's first exercise built entirely around unmanned systems (TURNAs-26, running 19-27 October off Antalya), a long-endurance drone dropped sonar buoys into the Mediterranean for the first time and relayed the acoustic data to shore, where underwater targets were detected. A repeated its own September sonar-buoy drop from the carrier , and a radar-equipped drone intercepted a target drone by colliding with it, without explosives. Reported 26 October.
