Uncrewed farm machines ploughed along preset routes, sprayed crops and harvested rice during a live demonstration in Dongyuan County, Guangdong, on 30 October. Xinhua's photo report attributes the equipment to a research team.
One sequence shows an uncrewed harvester unloading rice into an autonomous grain transport vehicle. Other images show aerial spraying and seeding alongside ground equipment.
The photo report documents machines working in fields. It does not establish how the vehicles coordinate, how much human supervision they need or whether the same system operates routinely outside the demonstration.
