German company and Ukrainian company have completed the first major system tests of an armed unmanned ground vehicle intended for Ukrainian forces, Euronews reported on 29 October. The vehicle carries ' weapon module, which soldiers fire remotely - with anything from rifles to grenade launchers - while staying at a safer distance. The cooperation was signed in early October during Chancellor Merz's visit to Kyiv. The companies plan to integrate and deliver the first armed systems to Ukraine by the end of 2026; that delivery is still ahead.
